Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe uses welded steel pipe as the base pipe. After pickling and fluxing, it is integrally immersed in molten zinc at about 450°C, forming a zinc layer and zinc-iron alloy layer on the inner and outer walls. The coating is firmly bonded and thick, and it is one of the most widely used anti-corrosion steel pipes in outdoor humid environments and fluid transportation engineering.
Standards and Material
Base pipe standard: GB/T 3091-2015 "Welded steel pipe for low-pressure fluid transportation"
Galvanized layer: GB/T 13912, with clear requirements for coating weight, uniformity and adhesion
Common material: Q235B
